  • Quantum: Aligned Creativity: Informed by Insight

    Monday 11 March 2019

The ever-popular LBF Monday conference, Quantum, takes place once again on 11 March 2019. A global conference, with speakers and attendees hailing from over 25 different nations, it cements the agenda for the following three days of The London Book Fair. With partner Nielsen Book providing invaluable insight and data, the programme will encompass the pressing publishing challenges, opportunities, good practice and the state of the global publishing scene. Themes will include non-fiction; audio; independent publishing; AI and machine learning; voice first book discovery and more.

The Afternoon segment will focus in on the broader creative industries, with particular focus on TV. LBF’s partners BAFTA are assisting with the programming of the afternoon sessions. It will feature aligned creative industry themes and speakers including: collaboration and good practice; partnerships; adaptations- what producers are looking for; publishers as media companies; making the most of book IP, and children's entertainment. Quantum is the agenda-setter for the three days following at LBF itself. An energising mix of top quality keynotes and speakers, In-conversations, and case studies, all backed up by data, makes for a comprehensive, and inspiring programme.
